Surgery: Tell Us Where It Hurts
At Caring Hearts Animal Clinic our top priority is creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere from pre-surgical consultation through to post-surgical recovery for our patients and their families.
Pre-Anesthesia Blood Work
Prior to any anesthesia, blood work is completed to ensure that the liver and kidneys are healthy enough to tolerate the anesthetic. Blood work can identify conditions that could cause complications if left untreated. We use the results in customizing your pet's anesthesia and pain management protocol.
Pre- and Post-Surgical Pain Management
Caring Hearts Animal Clinic does not want any pet to suffer at any time. We will work to create a pain management protocol specific to your pet. You need to know how to care for your pet, so we will review any and all medications, treatments, and the restrictions on activity included in your pet's pain management plan.
